Odyssesus is an increadible mortal. He has overcome solitute with calypso, being cursed by posiedon, sailed a crew all the way around Greece, and survived it all. He is a man who looks like a god and i think odysseus would make a good god. The way he survives everything makes one think he is a god.
One of his accomplishments is being on the island with calypso. She held him there against his will until Zeus would agree to let him go. But Athena, the Goddess who is alwals nice to him convinces Zues to let him go. But even then, Odysseus was told to make a raft out of materials he found in the forest. But as he left the island on his raft, posiedon got mad and cursed the sea with giant waves and made a storm at sea. He made the waves come up in swells and destroy the boat. His boat was wrecked and then Odysseus had to swim all the way to shore as he was thrown into rocks, pounded by the waves, and thrown around in the water. He said that his hands were being ripped apart from clinging onto the rocks so hard. He was a fighter and would not give up until he reached shore. But some might say that he had the help of the God Ino and the scarf of imortality, but i think it was true will and desire. If a mortal can survive this, he is definantly capable of being a God.
